The PC-24 was created as a response to customers who expressed a desire to have an aircraft with greater range and speed than Pilatus’ PC-12 without compromising on its ruggedness. Its cabin is larger than other aircraft in its class, but its take-off and landing performance are more consistent with a turboprop. Coupled with its ability to land on nearly any terrain, this aircraft can access more than 21,000 airports worldwide. Pilatus chairman Oscar Schwenk says the PC-24 is the only aircraft “combining the versatility of a turboprop with the cabin size of a medium light jet, and the performance of a light jet”.
