This week’s aircraft highlight features the Falcon 2000:
- ✈︎ Heavy jet
- ✈︎ Carries 10 passengers
- ✈︎ 134 cubic ft. baggage capacity
- ✈︎ Max speed 475 knots
- ✈︎ Max range 3130 nautical miles before refueling
- ✈︎ 66 currently available for charter in the US according to FlightList PRO
Introduced in 1993, the Falcon 2000 is a large cabin jet with operating costs similar to those of a mid-range. Designed to be a slightly smaller version of the 900, it has upgraded engines and blended winglets to increase performance. It’s more fuel-efficient than its predecessors while still maintaining its transcontinental range. The spacious cabin typically seats 8 or 9 but can be configured for 16 and will accommodate up to 19 bags. If you need to get from Maine to Los Angeles or a similar route, it’s one of the best options in the industry.
